 Specialized Wraparound Program

Behavioral Specialist Consultant (BSC): Full and Part Time Opportunities Available

Part Time Opportunities to provide care to autistic children in the Philadelphia area and/or Lower and Central Bucks County.

Full Time Opportunity to work with deaf and/or hard of hearing children with behavioral health issues.  Work is predominately in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

The Behavior Specialist’s primary function is to stabilize the child’s behavior and to be involved with the ongoing treatment. The specialist will take responsibility for formulating and implementing the treatment plan.

Qualified candidates will be a Licensed psychologist or Master’s level mental health professional with documented training and experience in the field of behavior modification techniques, (minimum of eight (8) hours prior to hire, eight (8) hours annually thereafter). Two (2) years verified post-Master’s experience providing mental health treatment to children, and at least one (1) year experience using behavior analysis/modification techniques. Prefer that applicants have 30 hours of training in the past two years on ASD.

Applicants interested in working with deaf and/or hard of hearing children must be proficient in American Sign Language (ASL).

 

Mobile Therapist (MT): Part Time Opportunities to provide services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. The Mobile Therapist will provide intensive therapeutic services to the child and family in the home, school or community.

The preferred candidate will have a one year work experience working with children with ASD as well as having completed 30 hours of training in the past two years on ASD.

Candidates will meet the following qualifications:

 

  1. Master’s degree prepared mental health, social work counseling or other Human Services. Professional license preferred.
  2. At least one (1) year verified post-Master’s experience providing psychotherapy/counseling to children/adolescents.
  3. Valid Child Abuse (Act 33), Criminal History (Act 34), and FBI clearances (when applicable).
  4. Meet all mandatory in-service training, education, and supervision requirements as set forth by managed care entities.

Cases are available within the Philadelphia School District as well as in Lower and Central Bucks County.

Therapeutic Staff Support (TSS): Full and Part Time Opportunities to work "one on one" with autistic children. Work is predominately delivered in the school setting, generally within the Philadelphia School District, Lower Bucks and Central Bucks County.

Candidates with a Bachelors degree and one year prior experience working with children with ASD as well as 15 hours of training on ASD in the past two years are preferred.

At minimum, qualified candidates will have a Bachelors degree in Psychology, Social Work or related Human Services field. Applicants who have a Bachelors degree in a non related field are required to have one year work experience with children. Also acceptable is an Associates degree or 60 college credits and three years work experience with children.
Knowledge of autism spectrum disorder strongly preferred. Proficiency in ASL (American Sign Language) is highly desirable.


Outpatient Program

We are seeking experienced clinicians to provide individual and/or family therapy to children and adolescents ages 3 -21.  The outpatient therapist’s primary function is to stabilize the child’s behavior and to provide ongoing therapy to the child and family.

Qualified candidates will possess a:  

  1. Ph.D. or master’s level mental health professional. Professional license preferred.
  2. At least two (2) years verified experience in the mental health field.
  3. Valid Child Abuse (Act 33), Criminal History (Act 34), and FBI clearances (when applicable).
  4. Meet all mandatory in-service training, education, and supervision requirements as set forth by managed care entities. Applicants are preferred to have attended 30 hours of training in the past two years on ASD.

Evening and Saturday hours are available. Applicants must be willing to work a minimum of 8 evening hours or 6 hours on Saturday. The Outpatient Program is located at our corporate office in Bensalem.


Warwick House – Residential Treatment Program

Milieu Counselors: Two Full Time Evening Shifts as well as Part Time positions are available. Associates or Bachelors degree in the Human Services field is preferred. Previous work experience with children in a behavioral treatment program a plus.

Registered Nurses: On Call positions are available. Must have current Pennsylvania RN license. Previous experience working with children in a behavioral healthcare treatment facility required.


Family Based Program

Family Based Therapist:  To stabilize the child and family’s behavior in order to provide ongoing individual, family and marital therapy as per the Family Based Program model.

 

This full time position requires a Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Family Therapy, Nursing, or Theology with emphasis in Pastoral Counseling.  Must have two years experience in child and adolescent mental health services, preferably in a Family Based Program. 

 

Cases are located throughout Bucks County.  Applicants must be willing to travel throughout the county.  This position involves working a minimum of three evenings per week and taking on-call on a rotating basis.
